I know that not everyone feels comfortable in front of the camera, so my approach is relaxed and candid. I’ll give you gentle guidance when you need it, while allowing the important moments of your wedding to happen naturally.

Second Shooting at Highfield Hall, Mold-18/04/2026

I was approached by Markus Watson Photogaraphy to help second shoot a beautiful wedding at Highfield Hall in Mold, Wales, for a lovely couple, Chris and Lois-both primary school teachers!

Having previously shadowed Markus at a wedding at The Old Palace, Chester, I was definitely nervous going into my first wedding as a second shooter.

I knew I had to put all the practice and preparation into action, and I am so glad I managed to pull it off!

From bridal and groom preparations to all the little candid moments that natutrally unfolded throughout the day, it was such a pleasure to be involved in capturing these memories for Lois and Chris.

One of my favourite parts of the day was seeing the couple welcomed and congratulated by their school children outside the church. It was such a sweet and memeorable moment and something they will treasure for years to come.

We then had a lovely, relaxed moment with the newlyweds on a beauitful hilltop that held alot of meanings for them, before heading back to Highfield Hall and enjoying the evening celebrations-And what it party it was!

Smoke bombs,confetti, sparklers and plenty of cocktails made for such a fun atmosphere, with so many natural and memorable moments happening throughout the night-excatly the kind of moments that make weddings so special to photogragh!

I also had the pleasure of working alongside videographer Geraint Perry, who was incredibly understanding of my nerves, especially when I was left alone to photograph some of the groom preparations on my own!

Yes, I cover Chester, Formby, Crosby and The Wirral and additionaI travel costs apply to places within the North West

What happens if it rains?

We make the most of it with umbrellas and your venues under cover areas, do not worry we will still get them amazing portraits!

How far in advance should I book?

Usually it is best to book 1 year before your big day

When will we receive our photographs?

You will receive a preview of your big day within 2 days depending on your booking options, and full gallery expected about 2 weeks after your big day depending on how busy the season is for me I will let you know when to get preview where you are in the wedding que

Do you offer small/Intimate weddings?

Yes I offer ceremony only if based in Liverpool or Southport at this moment
